前不久，我在国外某家交友网站收到一封老外的来信，内容如下：a question i was just wondering what your take is on chinese laws regarding the animals? you know that cats and mainly dogs are being slaughtered, sold for food and eaten? they die horrible, painful deaths just so that people can have temporary pleasures. or do you just not care? i am not yelling at you or saying you are to blame. you may answer any way you wish. 大体意思就是问我有关国内杀猫和杀狗的问题，让我做出回答。我回信说在中国是没有这种事情发生的。其实国内吃狗肉我早就知道，因为本人也吃过。因为人们都说冬天吃狗肉有补。至于吃猫我可从来没有听说过。巧了昨天去雅虎中国社区看到一个与吃猫有关的帖子“残忍的猫肉火锅”，这才知道国内吃猫肉也确有其事。从该帖子的点击数(3796)以及回帖数（133）来看，关心此事的人还真不少，绝大多数人是谴责这种行为的，都认为杀猫是残忍的。你们说吃猫到底对是不对呢？
